About Us

Woodley Coles was established in 2001 by founding partners Steve Coles and Nigel Woodley to provide quantity surveying and cost consultancy services to the construction industry. 

 

Incorporating in 2003 and transfering to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) some four years later reduced company liability and risk.  Investors in People status was achieved in 2004 and has remained in place ever since.  This is complemented by accrediation to CHAS, Constructionline, ISO14001 and ISO9001.

      

Within seven years Woodley Coles became a £1million+ business; an outstanding benchmark of success and a stronger comparable position than many competitor consultants can claim.  We have since maintained this position during very restrictive financial times and will continue to build on this and remain profitable.  Business growth has been achieved by a good mix of repeat and new business with a good number of overall clients.  Successful inclusion on many frameworks benefits us with a strong backbone of work.  A key reason we have maintained growth is because of our long-standing, positive outlook and insistence to maintain a core base of competent staff.   Our ethos is to trade in a fair and honest manner and we do not believe in undercutting and unsustainable pricing.  This has ensured we remain profitable and earns us the respect of our customers and their professional teams. 

 

With offices in Kent, London and Cambridge we have a strong reputation for exceptional service to all clients.  Every project is managed locally by either a Partner or Associate and all are fully supported by our excellent team with strength in depth to compliment our wide range of appropriate experience.
