Woodley Coles pride ourselves on our high standards, excellent service and our exceptional people which is evidenced by the high number of accolades to our name.

'Project of the Year' Awarded to The Wing

We were delighted that The Wing, Battle of Britain Memorial was crowned 'Project of the Year' at the Kent Design & Development Awards 2016. The Wing was also the winner of the Commercial, Industrial and Retail Category before going on to win the top accolade in the prestigious bi-annual awards.

The outstanding building was designed by Godden Allen Lawn, a Folkestone Architectural practice, and supported heavily by Woodley Coles LLP as the Quantity Surveyors alongside Crofton M&E/Structural Engineers of Hadlow.

Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Business Awards

Woodley Coles were delighted to have been shortlisted to be finalists for ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ at the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards 2016. We have had a successful history in this category, having won the award twice and been finalists five times in the past nines years. This year we were also shortlisted as a finalist for the Achievement in International Business Awards, recognising the work we do across 36 different countries. We felt honoured to be finalists in both categories which reflects the dedication and hard work of our excellent team

Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Business Awards

In March this year Woodley Coles were delighted to be shortlisted as finalists once again for ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ at the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards 2015.  Our track record of success within these awards is impressive having won twice and been finalists four times in the past eight years. These awards highlight our continuous commitment to delighting our customers and consistently delivering a trusted, expert service.

Local Authority Building Control Awards (LABC)

Following this, Woodley Coles were delighted to see one of our Kent projects, a building appropriately named ‘The Wing’ due to it striking resemblance to a Spitfire plane, recognised and rewarded as best ‘Small Commercial Building’ at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards 2015.

The team responsible for delivering the project celebrated their success at the event held in Brighton in June after many years of hard work to ensure the dreams of the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust became a reality so that those who fought for their Country continue to be remembered.

The project has now been entered into the National Awards with the winner to be revealed later this year.

Kent Women in Business Awards

Most recently our Business Development Manager Ella Brocklebank scooped two awards at the Kent Women in Business Awards 2014.  Victorious in her category 'Contribution to the Community' following nomination by local charity Pilgrims Hospices (after raising £11,000 for the charity through her 'Magic 13'), Ella was further rewarded with the accolade of 'Inspirational Business Woman of the Year' chosen from all finalists across all eight categories.

Co-founder of the Kent Women in Business Awards, Hilary Steel commented: "The winner of this award stands out not only for the contribution they make in the company they work for but also for their sense of social responsibility. It's easy to get bogged down with things that life throws at you, but it is how you deal with those obstacles that define you. Our Inspirational Business Women of the year is inspiring both in the world of business and an inspirational woman in her own right"  before announcing Ella as the winner and presenting her with the award.

In 2013 Woodley Coles were particularly proud to have won the award for ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ at the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards.  We previously won this award back in 2009 and have since been selected as a finalist in this category for the past four years.  To be shortlisted year-upon-year illustrates the consistency of approach, high quality and reliability of the professional service Woodley Coles provides to our customers.  To be crowned winners in 2013 highlights the hard work and unrivalled service that has positioned us as one of Kent’s finest Quantity Surveying practices.
