Project: B508 Remodelling
Client: Pfizer Ltd - Pfizer Global Research & Development, Sandwich
Role: Project Cost Management and Purchaser
The Clients strategy is to create a department hub that would accommodate an assortment of team roles from independent to interactive through to highly concentrative. The space is currently a mixture of cellular offices and open plan with a fixed set of meeting rooms. The layout and infrastructure limits the flexibility of the space and team members are often restricted to their allocated desk with little or no access to support spaces such as quiet rooms, collaboration/team areas, and breakout space. The completed project will enable the Client to accommodate a 100 % increase in headcount in the same space.
Works commenced on site in November 2007 and the project comprises the strip out and refurbishment of an existing office area.
Directly appointed by Pfizer Ltd, The Woodley Coles LLP is working closely with the Pfizer Project Team providing Cost Management services for the overall project that includes management, monitoring and reporting on all aspects of the budget alongside meeting stringent internal project control reporting requirements. We are also appointed as Purchaser’s Representative on the Main Contract.
