The project comprised the refurbishment and alteration of an existing shop with flats above to provide a new shop and flat. The shop opens on to Tontine Street in the “Creative Quarter” of Folkestone old town.

Works involved the careful removal of all damaged materials and subsequent sympathetic reinstatement. This comprised extensive refurbishment internally and externally, internal re-structuring, new kitchen, bathrooms and mechanical and electrical installations. 

The Woodley Coles LLP was appointed to provide part pre-and full post contract service including preparation of budgets, evaluating tenders and post contract cost control through to agreement of the final account.
