This scheme is to replace existing facilities of two curriculum areas within the existing College in line with Learning and Skills Council guidelines for replacement of outdated facilities to provide 21st Century learning environments.

 

The re-development is phased and involves extensive enabling and temporary works to ensure the full curriculum is maintained throughout the project.

 

The Woodley Coles LLP were originally appointed to provide quantity surveying services (cost planning) to Stage D in support of an Approval in Principle bid to the Learning and Skills Council.

 

The Woodley Coles LLP were subsequently appointed on both Phase 1 & 2 of this development to undertake Employers Agent and Quantity Surveying Services.  Phase 1 has been procured on a single stage design and build basis and is due for completion in August 2009.
