The Woodley Coles LLP were appointed by the funding body, National Westminster Bank plc, to undertake Independent Monitoring Surveyor Services on the new build construction of this 12 unit apartment development.  Located in the heart of Margate Old Town on the site of an old bottling plant the development comprises 11Nr two bed units and 1Nr one bed unit.  The structure is made up partly of some of the exiting masonry structure of the old bottling plant plus new timber frame construction. Raft foundations, insulated concrete floors, timber partitions, slate roof on timber trusses, timber doors and windows, together with floor, wall and ceiling finishes, decorations, mechanical and electrical installations, internal and underground drainage works and associated external works.

    

Working closely with the Bank and the Developer interim draw downs of the loan facility are agreed and certified.  The site is visited at monthly intervals and the works to date valued with Interim Reports and certification of the loan drawdown issued to the Bank.
