The project comprised the design and construction of a new 24 bed 2-storey student accommodation building at the NCYPE’s main campus in Lingfield, Surrey. The works included all external works, services etc. along with the demolition of the existing Henson Hostel which the new building was to replace.
The Woodley Coles LLP were appointed post contract to act as Employers Agent for the Design and Build contract as well as carrying out the more traditional quantity surveying services.
We were also asked to provide total scheme cost management, including all items outside the construction contract such as fees, furniture, internal costs and the like and to reconcile these with the Centre’s budget and records.
