The Woodley Coles LLP were appointed by the funding body, National Westminster Bank plc, to undertake Independent Monitoring Surveyor Services on the new build construction of this 15 unit apartment block in Vange, Basildon, Essex.  The structure is traditional construction comprising piled foundations, insulated concrete beam and block floors, load-bearing masonry walls and partitions, plain clay tile roof on timber trusses, UPVc doors and windows, together with floor, wall and ceiling finishes, decorations, mechanical and electrical installations, internal and underground drainage works and associated external works. 

    

Working closely with the Bank and the Developer interim draw downs of the loan facility were agreed and certified through to successful completion of the project.  The site was visited at monthly intervals and the works to date valued with Interim Reports and certification of the loan drawdown issued to the Bank.

 

 Interim Reports prepared for Bank including details of the valuation of the works completed to date and the interim certification of the loan drawdown.    

 

All units were Let within a matter of days of completion of the works.
